All costs are based on Australian Labour, Fuel, Equipment & Material Costs. Production rates are generally comparable to the United States & Canada. The country average craft labour rate normalized for the exchange rate is 15% less than the country average of the United States. Australia Craft Labor rates, similar to Canada, do not fluctuate as much as the United States from coast to coast with Victoria having higher rates than the average and Western Australia having less than the country average. Most craft labor in Australia is unionized. Rates are determined through negotiation of Enterprise Business Agreements (EBA's) regulated by the Fair Work Commission.
